The Board of Trustees owns and maintains nine cemeteries within the township. Contact Robin Snyder at 740-775-1853 or firstname.lastname@example.org for information and/or to purchase lots at the Huntington Township Cemetery on Liberty Hill Road. For all others, contact Gary Hopkins at 740-804-3074.
As of May 15, 2018; we will begin removing all stones, bricks, etc that are in violation of the cemetery rules for those graves that are no longer tended and distract from the appearance of the cemetery.
Grave lot prices: Huntington Township Cemetery > $300 residents or $400 non-residents All other cemeteries > $200 or $300 non-resident
Cemeteries noted as “closed” are only available for burial to those with an existing monument in place. Grave lots are no longer sold in these cemeteries.
Huntington Township Cemetery – Liberty Hill Road - Rules - For those graves in violation of rule three, once the trustees deem that the grave is no longer maintained, meaning weeds and grass have overtaken the grave, then the trim bricks, gravel, fences, and/or statues will be removed in order to facilitate upkeep and mowing.
